In early July 2022, a devastating flood struck the beautiful villages of Wollombi, Broke, and the surrounding areas, forcing residents to face an unprecedented challenge. This disaster tested the community in ways they had never imagined.

In this series, the Singleton Neighbourhood Centre and Kintsugi Heroes come together to capture and share stories of resilience from the Hunter Valley community. Kintsugi Heroes produced 12 powerful episodes, available in video, audio, and radio formats on the Vision Australia national radio network. These episodes feature locals sharing their real-life experiences of overcoming adversity, serving their community, and inspiring others facing similar challenges.
